Description: National Portal (NP), with full of information of public offices, is one of the largest portal in the world. In fact, linking 25000 websites of public offices through NP is the flagship instance in the world. This portal is to ensure letting information and services for all, through linking websites of all public offices. The initiative was taken to ensure transparency, accountability and to instigate innovation, establishing pro-people administration and to reduce gap between citizens and government. In addition to the information on public services, this portal contains information and photos of renowned tourist spots, natural beauty, terracotta and historical places of Bangladesh. Under the leadership of Cabinet Division and a2i, initially this initiative was taken in a small scale at Comilla district, which in the name of NP, turn into a mammoth repository of information of 25000 government offices.
